Mr. Reisen was born in Savannah, Georgia and enjoyed fishing, helping others, traveling, boating on the Rainbow River, and spending quality time with his family.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, a 71-year member of the IBEW Local 177 of Jacksonville, Florida, a lifetime member of the VFW, and former President of the Rio Vista Homeowners Association.
Survivors include his loving wife Freda; daughter Margaret Wilson of Jacksonville, FL; stepsons: Daniel (Janice) Newman of Dunnellon; Donald (Jeanette) Newman of Bloomingdale, GA; and stepdaughter Cindy (Phillip) Rash of Leicester, NC; as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 11, 2012 at Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, FL with Pastor Joseph Vosberg officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am the same day.
Inurnment in the Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia will follow at a later date.
