Hazel Ezell (Ezell) Hudson

Mrs. Hazel Ezell Hudson, 95, of Dunnellon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.  Born in Yankeetown, Mrs. Hudson was a lifelong resident of this area.  She retired from the Citrus County School Board as a school bus driver.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Dunnellon.  The two things in life that gave her the greatest joy was her family and her God.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her two sons Tom Hudson (Paula), and Donnie Hudson (Annette); her three daughters Frances Ferguson (Jim), Bonnie Flick, and Sylvia Brammer (Charlie); her brother J.C. Ezell (Patricia); 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Hudson, 6 sisters, 1 brother, and her son-in-law Jerry Flick.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County in Mrs. Hudson’s memory.
