Hazel L. (Spratlen) Whirle

Hazel L. Whirle,  92, of Dunnellon, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2019,  with her family by her side. She was born December 8, 1926 in Jones County, TX. She came to Dunnellon, FL in 2003 from St. Petersburg, FL where she worked as a crossing guard for 25 years and served as the church pianist and organist at the local Foursquare Church.  Hazel was a loving wife of 63 years, survived by her husband Marvin Whirle of Dunnellon, FL; a son James (Pete) & Dianna Whirle of  Dunnellon, FL, and 3 daughters: Gloria & Phil Lupi of Clearwater FL, Stacy & Mark Romano of  New Pt Richey, FL, and Charlotte & Chuck Cooley of Citrus Springs, FL. , Ten Grandchildren and Two Great Granddaughters. Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:00am at Robert’s Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Dunnellon, with Pastor Ronnie Reid officiating.   Graveside services will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
