Helen Berry

Helen Ann Berry, 81, of Dunnellon, Florida passed away on December 14, 2017. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10AM at the First United Methodist Church in Dunnellon with Pastor Eddie Fulford, officiating. Helen was born in Wheatland, Indiana on September 7, 1936. She graduated from Wheatland High School. Later in life she continued her education to receive a nursing degree and became a registered nurse. Helen was married to Ranza Bateman, Jr. and later to Tom Helms. Helen was a hard working mother who spent many years raising her children. She enjoyed playing the organ at her childhood church and was choir director. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends everywhere she was. Helen is survived by her sister, Judy Kay Brown, sons, Ranza Lee, Robert Dale Bateman (Royet); her daughter Tracy Lynne Mickel; her grandchildren include Jackie King, Joe Bateman(Jennifer) Dustin Bateman(Christel) Kaelani Leone(Rusty),Sarah Bateman, Vance Bateman, Jason Ohlman and Jenifer Ferrell(Eric) and twenty great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her mother and father, Alma Whalen and Vance Whalen and her brother Dale.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
