Cunningham, Helen LaVerne, 85, entered into Heaven on Dec.10, 2014.
She was born on May 9th, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio, and was a true "Buckeye" through and through.
In 1954, she moved to St. Petersburg, FL with her husband to raise their family. In 1998, following her husband's retirement, they moved to their "dream home" in Dunnellon, FL.
Her life's work includes raising four children, working for her husband's TV repair business, Weight Watchers, and several other companies once her children were grown. She loved music events and gatherings, fishing, church, traveling, her friends and family, her dear friend Fred Riggen, and her beloved dog Daisy.
Her passing was preceded by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Norbert (Ted) Cunningham in 2012. She is survived by her sister Patricia Hockenbery, West Jefferson, OH, sons Bruce (Stephanie) Orange Park, FL, Glenn (Cheryl) Dunnellon, FL, Kenneth, Gainesville, FL, daughter, Donna (Peter) Jemmott, Dunnellon, FL, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
LaVerne always put others first, was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend to so many people throughout her life, and will forever be missed.
Visitation will be at the Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, FL on Sunday Dec. 14th from 1pm-4pm, and Monday from 10am-11am. A "Celebration of Life" will follow Monday's visitation at 11:00am. Entombment is scheduled for 3pm Monday at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery Mausoleum in Seminole, Florida.
