Henry W. Haas

Henry W. Haas, 84, passed away on April 12, 2014. He was born into this life on March 7, 1930 to the late Elmer and Anna (Fleming) Haas in Queens, NY. He was a US Veteran serving during the Korea War with the US Army. He moved to this area in 1989 from Long Island, NY. He was a member of the American legion Post 58 of Dunnellon. He enjoyed playing his harmonica for various local churches in which he even would play for the people at the Harbor House where he resided until his passing.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth in 2010; his son, brother and sister.

Memorial Services celebrating Henry's life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date next to his wife Ruth at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
