Hilde J. Swisher

Hilde J. Swisher age 88 years old


Hilde was born on Oct. 5, 1925 to Heinrich and Hedwig Hammes in Cologne, Germany and passed away at her home in Ocala, Florida with her husband and daughter by her side on June 18, 2014.  She moved to the United States in July 1947 to marry her husband of 67 years, Edward F. Swisher.  They married on August 11, 1947 in Altoona, Pennsylvania.  Edward and Hilde moved to Ocala, Florida in June of 1988.

Hilde was a member with her husband of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by her Husband, Edward F. Swisher, Daughter Karin Kremp of Cologne, Germany, Daughter Debora Brown of Ocala, Florida, Grandchildren: Timothy Groves, Teresa Coffey and William Patton Jr and one Step Grandson Olen Brown Jr. and numerous Great Grandchildren.

She was a loving full time Wife, Mother, Grandmother and wonderful cook. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
