Iris Zoraida Velez

Iris Zoraida Velez, 57, died on January 13, 2018 in Gainesville, FL. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Iris worked in various positions as a receptionist. She was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church attending the Spanish Mass. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Portela Velez and Dulce Angelina Ramirez; her mother, Lucia Rodriquez and her stepfather, Peter Rodriquez; her brother, Jorge Velez; her grandchildren, Stephanie Brown, Jacob Velez and Mary Ann Groin.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
