Jack Schupp, 86, of Dunnellon, died on Monday, April 22, 2013 in Ocala, FL after a long illness. He was born July 8, 1926 in Warsaw, Poland and became a U.S. Citizen in 1961.
Jack moved here in 1995 from Buffalo, New York. He was a veteran of Armed Resistance against Nazi occupation and Polish 2nd Corps of the British 8th Army in WWII. Jack was a life member of the National Rifle Association, Amateur Trapshooting Association, Shooters’ Committee on Political Education, Tonawandas’ Sportsmen’s Club, Buffalo Shooting Club and Erie County Conservation Society.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Schupp, Dunnellon, FL; his daughters, Katherine Gannon, Clearwater, FL, Krystyne Lewis and her husband Brian, Boston, MA and Karoline Gafford and her husband Carl, Buffalo, NY; his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services celebrating Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Dunnellon, FL with Rev. Jefferey Welch officiating.
