James (Jimmy) Sapp Jr. 69 of Dunnellon, Florida formerly of New Castle, Delaware passed away peacefully Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born May 17, 1953, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was a graduate of Christiana High School. James was a retired Veteran who served his country first as a Marine, then the Army National Guard, and finished his service with the Air Force National Guard. Jimmy had the kindest heart and soul. He would do anything for anyone. Family meant everything to him. Everyone that knew Jimmy knew how much he loved and adored his granddaughter Ka-Sara. In his younger years he loved street racing and drag racing. One of his favorite things was watching and going to Nascar races. He was always happy being outdoors fishing, boating, or doing yard work. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah Ann (McAvaney) Sapp. His daughter Joyce Ann Cornell (Steve), his son John (PJ) Wolf, his daughter Ginny Shaner, his granddaughter Ka-Sara Annette Walker (Brian) and his Great Grandson Carter James Kennedy. He also leaves behind his brothers Ronald Sapp (Don’t Look) (Joyce), Daniel Sapp (Barbara), Timothy Sapp (JoAnn), Robert Sapp (Kathy), His sisters Barbara Jean Calloway, Kimberly Sapp (Preston), Irene Calloway, and his brother Jack Williams (Debbie). And many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly. He was proceeded in death by his sister Donna Klozcyk, his sister Kathy Gambill and niece Carol Menton, his sister Anne Cardenti and niece Joanna Cardenti, and his parents.
