Jean Schroeter Montville

Jean Schroeter Montville, 94, of Dunnellon, died Sunday, June 20, 2021.  She was born February 24, 1927 in Flushing, NY, to Henry Montville and Dorothy Schroeter Montville.   Jean was predeceased by her brother Leroy Montville and cousin Joan Miller.

She is survived by her loving cousins William (Gwen) Smith and Julie Miller and nephew Douglas (Marie) Montville.  Also surviving are her devoted friends Frances Yeomans, Linda Yeomans, Nicole Lucas, her dog Munchie, and many close neighbors, golf, card and bingo buddies.

She was an avid traveler who loved cruises and owned many “fast convertibles” including Corvettes, and a Mazda Miata until she was in her 90’s!  Also, golfing was a passion and she had many championships and a few holes in one.

Jean was an accomplished artist, writer and enthusiastic animal rights supporter.  For those who wish donations may be made to your favorite animal charity or Hospice of Marion County in Jean’s Memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at convenience of family and friends.
