Jerry Lee Whaley,

US Navy Veteran, 76, died on Sunday, November 26, 2023 while under the care of Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL. Jerry was born in Sterling, Illinois and was the son to the late Orville and Doris (McNabb) Whaley. He was Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening, cooking and wood-working.

He is survived by his son, Douglas Whaley, Tavares, FL; his daughter, Jennifer Wright, Grand Island, FL; his sister, Bonnie Whaley; his grandchildren, Logan Wright, Justin Whaley, Benjamin Whaley.

A committal service with military honors will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
