Joan Marie Duggins

J oan Duggins, 81, passed away on Wednesday September 15th at Cate's House Hospice in Ocala, FL. Joan was the only child of Charles and Frances Kinstler, and wife to husband Edward. She was raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL before heading off to Centre College, where there still is a scholarship that is awarded in her name.

Joan spent over 30 years as a math teacher at Seneca, Thomas Jefferson, and Waggenor High Schools where she also volunteered countless hours to their athletic departments. She was also an active member of St. Barnabas Parish prior to moving to Dunnellon, FL in 1997.

Joan is survived by her only son Russell, daughter in law Meghan, and grandchildren Cailin and Liam, for whom she loved immensely.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Andrew Catholic Church  in Coral Springs, FL on Friday October 1st at 10am.
