John D. Ghan, age 76, of Rainbow Springs, FL. passed away on May 31, 2012. He was born in Antioch, IL. on October 23, 1935 and was married to Lora (Penzel) Ghan for 54 years. He is survived by his children, Susan (Bill) Kerr of Westmont IL, and John (Linda) Ghan of Downers Grove IL; grandchildren Karen, Laura, and Cheryl Kerr, Stefanie and Michael Ghan; and great grandchild Kayla Kerr. He is the brother of Guy (Emily) Ghan and Terry Ghan; also many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Norine Meng and friends.
He was an avid golfer, bridge player, and a self employed machinist. He was involved in many organizations in Downers Grove IL, where he lived for 32 years. Above all, he will be remembered for his love of life, generosity, humor, storytelling and kindness to others.
