John Lyons Mclellan

John L. McLellan, 70, died suddenly on July 8, 2013 at home in Dunnellon. He was born February 10, 1943 to the late Alexander and Kathleen (Lyons) McLelland in Exeter, NH.

John moved from Maine in 2002 to Florida. He is retired from Hewlett Packard as an electrical engineer and was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam.  He was a member  of the Ocala Chapter of GWRRA Honda Goldwing Riders Club.

He is survived by his wife Jean McLellan, Dunnellon, FL; his daughters, Debbi  Jackson, FL, Cynthia Wall, Dallas, TX and Kimberly McLellan, Dallas, TX; his sister, Jeanne Bundtzen, MA and niece, Kristen Vonkosembahr, MA and his loving three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon at 5:00 PM.  There will be a viewing one hour prior to service time.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Mr. McLellan’s  memory to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
