John Henry Ruthruff

John Henry Ruthruff, 76, died on December 5, 2023 while under Vitas Hospice in Lecanto. He was born on October 10, 1947 in Hart, Michigan and was the son to the late David and Gracie(Holmes) Ruthruff. John moved to Dunnellon in 2016 from Polk County, FL. In his earlier years he worked for Golden Gem Orange Juice Company in Michigan. John served our country with the United States Marine Corps and served on two tours to Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He enjoyed, camping, fishing and just being outdoors especially  prospecting for Gold. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

John is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ruthruff; his three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his son, Michael Ruthruff; his daughter, Lisa Warren and his brother, Kenny Ruthruff .

A Committal service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on  Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:30 AM with military honors.
