Jonathan Kerry Osborne

Dunnellon and formerly of Logan, Ohio- Jonathan K. Osborne, 59, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his residence in Dunnellon. He was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  Following high school he enlisted in the US Navy. During his career he worked as a Postmaster and a volunteer fireman in Logan and Chillicothe Ohio. Jonathan moved to Florida in 2019 from Logan, Ohio and while in Dunnellon he joined the Dunnellon Moose Lodge and the VFW Ed Penno Post in Citrus Springs. He enjoyed fishing, music, bonfires and really had a love for people. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, John R. Osborne, and his mother, Helen C. Shimp; his brothers, William C. Shimp, Andrew Shimp, Frederick Shimp, Tony March, Rex March, and John March; his sisters, Bertie Metcalf, Belinda March and Annette Staten.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the VFW Ed Penno Post #4864 in Citrus Springs, FL.
