Joseph Walter Berryhill

Mr. Joseph Walter Berryhill, 84, of Ocala, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the Oakhurst Center in Ocala. A native of Marion County, he moved back to Ocala in 1956, coming here from Gulf Hammock. He retired from the Ocala Lumber Company after 40 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Berryhill is survived by his daughter Vicki Berryhill Kash, two sons Chuck and Brent Berryhill, two sisters Jane Owen and Dorothy Daniels, his brother Franklin Berryhill, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty Jean Owen Berryhill, and his son Danny Berryhill.
Funeral services for Mr. Berryhill will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Interment will follow the services in the Rosemary Cemetery, Bronson.
