Joseph A. Chipkar

Joseph A. Chipkar died peacefully in the care of Hospice on October 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Chipkar and grandson Landon Johnson. Joseph is survived by his girlfriend, Margret Koene; children; Judith Tear, Jody Rhoda of Florida and Joe Chipkar of Whitehall, PA; grandchildren; Shaunna Johnson, Dallas Wagner, Shilo Wagner, Sherice Rhoda and Alex Sidor; great-grandchildren; Jasmine Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Luke Taylor, Jackson Taylor, and Dax Cannon.

Joe was born in Benld IL and served his county in the US Navy onboard the USS Fremont. He worked for Stanley Vidmar in Allentown PA for over 30 years. Upon retiring to Florida in 1995 Joseph worked for the Citrus County School Board.

Joe enjoyed playing baseball, attending his grandchildren’s many school events and his great grandchildren’s soft ball games.

Joseph and Joan Chipkar will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
