Joseph Michael Kolonich formally of Leslie, Michigan and Bitley, Michigan currently from Inglis, Florida passed away on March 14, 2015 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, Florida.
He will be cremated in Florida and other services may be planned.
Joseph Michael Kolonich was born in Jackson, Michigan to Joseph and Lilian Kolonich on March 16, 1947. He graduated from Leslie High School in 1967. He retired with 30 years of service from the Oldsmobile Plant of General Motors in Lansing, Michigan. He was a veteran of The Vietnam War and served in the Army and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was an avid hunter fisherman and outdoorsman.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph , and Lilian Kolonich, his sister JoAnn Shunk (Kolonich), his daughters Angela Kolonich, and Tracy Kolonich.
Joseph is survived by his daughter and sons, Joy Harbin (Kolonich),Rhonda Parker, Brian Schultz, Brad Schultz, Brandon Butler, and Brent Butler; a sister Tonia Bearss (Kolonich) and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
