Joyce Eastabrook

March 13, 1929 — July 11, 2021

Dunnellon- Joyce Eastabrook, 92, died peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 13, 1929 in London, England and was one of ten siblings who was born to the late Henry Holland Nicholls and Jean (Maynard) Nicholls. While living in London, Joyce met her future husband, Laurne who was stationed there while serving in the US Navy. In 1946, they exchange their marriage vows and decided to move to Illinois where they made their home and raised their two daughters, Lauren and Susan. In 1988, they decided to move to a warmer climate and retire to Dunnellon. Joyce and her husband enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of Florida, more particularly, Key West and St. Augustine and even went cross country to visit their daughter in California. For the most part Joyce was a homebody who always took care of her family and her home. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Lubin.

She leaves behind her husband of seventy five years, Laurne Eastabrook; her daughter, Lauren Eastabrook-Youker and her husband, Brian; her granddaughter, Amy Rosenthal and her husband, Mark and her great granddaughter, Shelby Dease and her husband, Jack. Memorial contributions can be made in Joyce’s memory to your local A.S.P.C.A. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) (secure.aspca.org)
