Justine D. Mayer

MRS. JUSTINE D. MAYER, age 93, of Frederick, MD, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Gettysburg Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Mayer.

Born January 24, 1918, in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Justine Lipicer Dermasa.

Mrs. Mayer lived at Tranquility Assisted Living, where she leaves many friends.  Justine was a school teacher in Cleveland, OH for 30 years.

She is survived by her daughter Donna M. Hoblit of Thurmont, MD; a sister Mary Grady (husband Russell); and her niece Sister Maureen Grady, O.S.U. all from Cleveland, OH.  She was preceded in death by a sister Florence Zalar.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Dunnellon, FL, with interment following at 2:00 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.staufferfuneralhome.com.
