Collins, Karen, age 59, of Morriston, FL passed away on September 11, 2012. She was born in Miami, FL on September 22, 1952.
She was married to Terence Collins for 31 years and moved to Ocala, FL in 2006. She is survived by her daughter Elyssa Loraine Collins and grandson Jayden Daniel Collins.
She owned and operated, with her husband, Fairglade School in Miami, FL. She was a graduate of Killian Senior High School, 1970, Florida International University, 1977, and University of Miami with her Master’s Degree in Exceptional Education K-12, 1995.
She was exceptionally skilled in horsemanship and won numerous national championships in both English and Western styles of riding.
