Kathleen Pepper,

of Hernando, Florida, formerly of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, passed away on January 23, 2026.

Kathleen was born on September 24, 1942, in Luck, Wisconsin, to John “Jack” and Rosella (Anderson) Dversdall. She grew up in Luck and graduated from Luck High School in 1960.

On June 5, 1965, Kathleen married the love of her life, Craig M. Pepper. The couple made their home in Rice Lake, where they raised their two children and shared many joyful years together. Kathleen spent her career as a secretary for the Rice Lake School System. She remained deeply involved in her children’s lives, serving as a Sunday School teacher, Brownie leader, and 4 H leader. She also had a lifelong passion for musicals and opera, attending many performances over the years.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, John “Jack” Dversdall; Rosella and Carl Algren; her husband, Craig; her brother, David; and her sister, Patricia.

She is survived by her sisters, Susan Gugino and Jill (Wayne) Thomas; her children, Kip Pepper and Kyanne (Lee) Faber; her granddaughters, Mia (Isabella) de Lautrec and Kat (Austin) Wohlk; her step grandson, Alex Faber; her great grandchildren, Silas, Stephanie, and Milo; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A family private interment will be held at a later date.
