Kathleen Marie (Scally) Cunningham

Kathleen Marie Cunningham, 61, of Dunnellon, passed away on April 26th, 2016 in Dunnellon, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30PM on May 5th at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon, Florida with Wayne Barber of River Gardens Baptist Church, officiating.
Kathleen was born in Tampa, Florida to Stanley and Mary Scally on July 25th, 1954. She married Phillip O. Cunningham on March 29th, 1981 in Tampa, Florida. Kathleen worked as a Manager in the family-owned and operated Front Porch Restaurant & Pie Shop for 30 years. She was commonly seen chatting up the patrons of the restaurant and went out of her way to ensure everyone there felt at home. Kathleen loved to sing and was a member of the Front Porch Singers who spent many years on stage, along with her father and sisters, entertaining Dunnellonites during numerous community events and social affairs. Kathleen spent several years on the Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce where she worked to promote activities to benefit the town. Two of Kathleen's most favorite pastimes were spent swimming in the Rainbow River and viewing scenery in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her father Stanley Scally Jr., her brother Stanley Scally III and her nephew, Ty Stevens.
Kathleen is survived by her spouse, Phillip Cunningham, her children Rick Alvarez, Tonya Hanlin and spouse James Hanlin; her daughter in-law Sherri Alvarez; her brother Robert Scally; her sisters Debra Pricher, Gail Barr, Donna Sowell, Jenny Michaels and Kelly Conley, her grandchildren Phillip Miller, Patience Hanlin, Raelyn Alvarez, Addison Alvarez and her great-grandchild, Peyton Hanlin. Kathleen was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,nieces and nephews.
