Kenneth Howard Wescott

Kenneth Howard Wescott, 66, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away on February 25, 2026 of natural causes. Kenneth, 'Kenny' to his friends, was born on November 15, 1959 to Edward Thomas Wescott and Rose Marie Wescott in Elmer, NJ.

After obtaining his GED, Kenny continued furthering his education with numerous certifications, while he mastered his craft of Maritime Engineering. Kenny was also an avid volunteer firefighter for many years, holding the position of captain with the Rainbow Lakes Fire Department.

In 1992, Kenny met his wife Sharon. Kenny and Sharon shared a wonderful marriage filled with happiness and shared accomplishments which spanned over 30 years.

Kenny was predeceased by Sharon. He is survived by Kenneth Howard Wescott II.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA or the Humane Society of Marion County, organizations Kenny felt strongly about.

There will be a public viewing on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 10-11 am  in Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Service will follow at 11:00 am.
