Larry M. Damewood

Larry Melvon Damewood, 73, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Bayfront Health in Brooksville, FL. He was born on January 14, 1948 in Ronoake, VA and was the son to the late Melvon and Etta (Cook) Damewood. Larry was a US Army Veteran from during the Vietnam War. After his military service he moved back to Virginia. He was well known in the mini horse circuit in Virginia. In 2016 he and his wife , Cathryn, moved from  Virginia to make their home in Citrus Springs.

Larry leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Cathryn Damewood, in Citrus Springs, FL; his step-daughter Lydia Workman Muell and son-in-law Mark Muell of NC with his 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren from them, and many beloved friends and neighbors.

Larry loved to fish, classic cars, motorcycles, and enjoyed cookouts with his family. He will be greatly missed.
