Larry Marvin Thornburg

Larry Marvin Thornburg, 68, US Army Vietnam Veteran  died on Ash Wednesday,  March 5, 2014 at the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. He was born May 26, 1945 in Fort Madison, Iowa to the late Glen and Dorothy (McLain) Thornburg.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; his daughters, Debbie Albritton, Jeanette Payne and Julie Geary; his sister, Charlotte Markey; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday (3/8) 1:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial Monday (3/10) 10:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery with Deacon Roland Desjardins, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church officiating. The Edward W. Penno V.F.W. Post 4864, Citrus Springs, will provide full military honors at the grave in recognition for his years of honorable service in the United States Army.

Family and friends will visit at the Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon (352-489-2429) on Saturday (3/8) from 10:00 to Noon..
