Lee W. Chaney, Jr.

Lee W. Chaney, Jr, 78 of Ocala, FL, formerly of Middletown, NY went home, to his maker March 4, 2022.  He grew up in Springfield, OH and was the son of Lee W. Chaney, Sr. and Mae (Eichelmann) Chaney.

Lee worked as a chemist for many years at Pollack Fruital works in Middletown, NY. He was an avid flea marketer who enjoyed searching out gold, silver, watches, and any other treasures.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol (Szmidt) Chaney; his son Michael (Laura) Chaney of Covington, KY; his brother John (Julia) Chaney of Springfield, OH; and his sister Barbara (Michael ) Garrety of Ft. Mill, SC.  He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and Cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Russell Chaney.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family.
