Leona Pearl Jennings

Leona Pearl Jennings, 86, died on May 27, 2015 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL. She was born August 22, 1928 in Santos, FL. Leona was the daughter of James and Cornelia (Wade) Cruce.

She was a lifelong resident of Marion County. Leona retired with the Marion Counnty School board. She was a plain simple lady who placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in the way she lived and by worshiping at West Marion Baptist Church in Morriston.

Leona is preceded in death by her son Gilbert Jennings and her sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 70yrs.,Willie Jennings, Jr., Morriston, FL; her sons, Willie Jennings, III, Morriston, FL and James Jennings and his wife Glenda of Tennessee;  her brothers, Claude Cruce, Altamonte Springs, FL and Joe Cruce, Georgia; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
