Leonard H. Fowler, Jr.

Leonard H. Fowler, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior August 22, 2013. Born in Newport News, Virginia on October 7, 1931, Mr. Fowler served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, and then drove for Curtis Oil Company of Lee Hall, Virginia and then the government retail system. He then retired to Deland, Florida.

Preceding Mr. Fowler in death are his parents Leonard H. and Ellen Kay (Bowman) Fowler, Sr., his wife of 49 1/2 years Margaret Lee Fowler originally of Roxboro, North Carolina, sister Catherine F. and husband Edgar D. Mazaitis of Newport News, Virginia, and nephew Daniel J. Mazaitis of Newport News, Virginia.

Survivors include his wife Nina Faye of Dunnellon, Florida, and nephew Robert D. and wife Ceci Mazaitis, niece Trina A. and husband Rod Campbell, and niece Ellen (Penny) Kay and husband Chris Howard, all of Newport News, Virginia.  Mr. Fowler also has extended nieces and nephew Michelle C. Douglas, Ryan D. Howard and Cara N. Howard, and many friends from his former home in Deland, Florida.
