Lillian D. (Degraw) Cox

COX, Lillian D., age 97, of Dunnellon, Florida and formerly of Gulfport, FL passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013.  She was born on July 9, 1916 in Riverdale, NJ, to her parents, Abe and Bessie DeGraw.  She married Thomas H. Cox on June 19, 1954 and they were married for 59 years.  Lillian and Tom raised their children in Gulfport and they eventually moved to Dunnellon, FL.  Lillian was a homemaker and took pride in raising her children.  She was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  Survivors include her husband Tom, her sons, Dennis Kayhart (Jean), Robert Kayhart (Pat), and Jerry Kayhart (Robbie) her daughter, Sherri LaFerrara, ten grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and sisters and grand-daughter Alysia Kayhart.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Dunnellon, FL 34432.  The family prefers, if you wish, memorial contributions to the Hospice of Citrus County of the Citrus Coast, P.O.
