Louise Mae Miller Harger, 90, died on Monday, September 18, 2017 while under the care of Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL. She is survived by her sons, Warren Harger, Jr., West Virginia, Ernie Harger, Lake City; her daughters, Ruth Bagley, Dunnellon, Darlene Sutton, North Carolina; her brother, Walter Miller and her sister, Margaret Wikert of Pennsylvania; her eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Harger and her brothers, Frank Miller and Fay Miller.

Mrs. Harger was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter to the late Samuel A. and Ruth I. (Templer) Miller. Louise and her late husband moved to Florida in the 1970’s and made their home in Dunnellon in 1980 and in 2012 moved to lake City with  her son. She was a member of the Romeo Baptist Church. Louise enjoyed puzzles, gardening and watching the birds outside. She truly cared for one another to the extent of when she talked to you she would develop a relationship to know you and  surprisingly you would receive a birthday and anniversary card. I know our mother,sister and grandmother is at peace with Jesus and It is with great comfort to know we will see her again.

Funeral Services celebrating  Louise’s life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. There will be held a public visitation held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the funeral home from 5-8 PM. Burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:30 AM.
