Margaret Ann “Maggie” Woods,

 83, died Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Mrs. Woods was born in

Portsmouth, Virginia, and moved to The Villages in 2007 with her husband, Jerry, an Air Force

veteran.

His military service sent them on a lifetime of travels around the world where Maggie excelled at

extending her hand of friendship no matter the destination. She was an exceptional hostess and

entertainer who loved welcoming friends into her home to share many laughs and lots of love.

She was also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry. They were married August 19, 1961, and

enjoyed 51 years of marriage. Survivors include many friends, all of whom she considered

family.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1, at The Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in

Wildwood, Florida. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery where she will join her

beloved Jerry on their final journey together. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to
