Born Luitgardis Margaret Mueller September 10, 1924 in Reutlingen, Germany, a city in Württemberg, Germany to the late Frederick-Ludwig and Rosa Mueller. A Family of 9 brothers ans sisters who survived World War II bombing raids and possible SS persecution for suspicion of aiding the enemy. She was a hairdresser in the family business but came to America on a 10 day journey by ship in 1954, a trip sponsored by and made possible by an aunt. Margaret lived in Coconut Grove, Florida where she continued to be a hairdresser in the new family business and met her husband Gottfried, Sr. on a blind date. She found out later they grew up in the same area and went to the same business school just at different times. Margaret moved to Miami Shores with her husband Gottfried, Sr. and soon after gave birth to a son Gottfried, Jr. They made the wonderful decision to follow other family members to Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon in 1981. Her husband Gottfried Sr., passed on May 3, 1985 of a sudden heart attack leaving Margaret to raise then teenage son Gottfried Jr., alone and take over all the finances. She continued to live a peaceful, quiet life enjoying gardening and cooking wonderful meals as she lived with her son and daughter in law, Cheryl, having the opportunity to experience her grandson, Grant who sure loved his Uma, grow to 8 yrs. Old. Margaret died peacefully in her sleep under the wonderful care of Hospice.
She is survived by her son, Gottfried J. Brown, sisters, Julianne Muellera and Rita Perny; her brother, Wolfgang Mueller and one grandson, Grant Brown.
