Margaret Elaine (Price) Brookshier

Margaret E. Brookshier, Dunnellon, Florida, (formerly of Springfield, IL and Seminole, FL) passed on September 15, 2019, surrounded by loving family. Margaret, a retired Insurance Agent, was born on August 17, 1926 to Allen & Cora Price and was predeceased by them; brothers Spaulding and Charles, great-granddaughter Sera.  She is survived by Fred, her life-long love and husband of 74+ years. Margaret is also survived by her son Robert, daughter Phyllis (Rick); grandchildren Sheri (Mike), Wendy (Niki), Sean, Lance (May), and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Muriel; many loving family and friends.

Margaret graduated in 1985 from Word of Faith Leadership and Bible Institute of Dallas. She was one of the first women from Seminole to complete this course.

Margaret was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas hospice House 3280 W. Audubon Park Path, Lecanto, Fl. 34461 In her honor or to First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon in support of the Prayer Walk.

Memorial services celebrating Margaret’s life will take place at First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
