Marguerite J. (Killarney) Walsh

Marguerite J. Walsh, 90, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. She was born on February 27, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY as Marguerite J. Killarney.  She was an AT&T operator.   She was an overseas long distance operator during World War II and would regale everyone with her stories. Mrs. Walsh was a member of the Rosary Society at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly).  She is survived by her sons, Michael J. Walsh of NY, Brendan J. Walsh of PA, daughter, Barbara Walsh of NY, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Walsh.
