Marian Rose Mroczkowski, 92, died peacefully on May 11, 2024, at E.W. Lucille Cates Hospice House in Ocala, FL. She was born into this life on June 24, 1931, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and was the daughter of the late Morris and Lulu (Schaffner) Hoff. She married Eugene Mroczkowski on October 7, 1950, and had a loving marriage for over 56 years until his passing in 2007. She then moved to Dunnellon in 1989, where she and her husband put down new roots on the Rainbow River and provided a new gathering point for the growing families of her boys. As a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon, Marian volunteered her time selflessly for the Lord for over 30 years. All her family and friends will greatly miss her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Mark and his wife Mary Mroczkowski of Auburndale, FL, and Scott and his wife Rebecca Mroczkowski of Dover, FL; her four grandchildren and their spouses Kyle (Dorota) Mroczkowski, Tami (Chris) Callahan, Justin (Nicole) Mroczkowski and Britney Mroczkowski. Eight great-grandchildren also loved her: Ryan, Ryley, and Connor Callahan, Finn, Mila, Amelia, Arik, and Amos Mroczkowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. A public viewing will be held one hour before service time in the church. She will rest beside her husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
