Marilyn W. Dillon, 85, died on January 10, 2025 in Crystal River, FL. She was born on February 8, 1939 in Austin, MN and was the daughter to the late Melvin and Rose (Sullivan) Kurth. Marilyn was raised in Tannyville, MO on a family farm and it was there that she met her future husband, the Late Quentin Dillon, who’s family also had a farm he was raised on. Marilyn and her late husband, moved around quite a bit due to his military career. She worked as a bookkeeper for a distribution company and was a Christian by faith. In her leisure time, Marilyn enjoyed crafts, fishing, and her dogs. Following her husband’s passing, she moved back to Missouri for several more years before coming back to Citrus Springs to be closer to her son Tim. Marilyn lived life to the fullest and shared many memories with all of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Dillon; her son, Mike Dillon, and three brothers.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son Tim Dillon and his wife Rhonda, Citrus Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Timothy (Lynn) Dillon, Mathew (Eric) Dillon, Aimee Vandergriff, David Burkhart, J.R. and Summer Dillon, and eight great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Dunnellon, FL. Committal services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL where she will be laid to rest by her husband, Quentin.
