Marilyn Delores (Munyan) Murphy

Marilyn Delores Murphy, 87, of Dunnellon Florida, passed away peacefully in hospice on July 8, 2022 at 5:24pm after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Marilyn was born December 4, 1934 in Bridgeton, NJ  to Harry and Ruby Munyan.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry, mother Ruby, sister Sandra, her husband George (1969-1978), and her husband Bob (1991- 2008).

Marilyn grew up in Miami Florida where she graduated from Edison High School in which she was a proud member of the marching band.  Her love of music (Johnny Mathis, Lawrence Welk, and Jimmy Roberts) and band was passed down to all of her children, in addition to her love of Sports. She loved watching baseball, golf, and football, in particular, Miami Dolphins. In addition, she volunteered at the Sheriff's Dept. for many years, and donated to numerous causes over the years.

She is survived by her children, Mark S. Griffin (Jennifer), Andrew H. Griffin (Cherie), Sandra L. Griffin (Belinda) and Christina M. Stumph (Randy), Multiple Grandchildren, and other close friends like family that have cared for her.

Marilyn will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
