Mario Intelisano

Mario Joseph Intelisano, Sr., age 92, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 10th at the home of his son, Mario Jr., and wife Kathleen.

Born August 11, 1931 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Mario was the youngest of 7 children of Antonio and Caterina Intelisano. Mario was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Frank Intelisano, George P. Intelisano, Anthony Intelisano, Virginia Spinelli, Josephine Sacchetti, and Rose Intelisano. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Bartsch) Intelisano in 1988, and infant son, Keith.

Prior to retirement, Mario worked as an auto mechanic and ran his own shops in Massachusetts and Florida, and he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mario is survived by his children Mario (Kathleen) Intelisano, and Lori Intelisano; grandson Zachary Intelisano. Mario was lovingly called Grand-PawPaw by Erin, Derek, Gregory, Meaghan, Gauge, Braxton, and Allie Marie.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
