Martha Helen Weibley of Norfolk, VA, went to be with her Lord on January 7th, 2015. She was born January 4, 1926 in Carlisle, PA daughter of the late William G. Hippensteel and Cora L. (Clever) Hippensteel. Martha was an active member at her churches in Newville, PA, Elkridge, MD and Dunnellon and Ocala, FL. She ran her own Dutchmaid sales business in Newville, PA, a Cub Scout leader, and a member of the Farm Women’s association. She drove a school bus in Montgomery County, MD. She started the Ladies Auxiliary to the fire department at Rainbow Lakes Estates in Dunnellon, FL. She was skilled in ceramics and crocheting. She produced many cherished gifts for her family and friends. Martha is survived by her husband of 66 years, Basil Weibley; a daughter, Deborah Riley of Lancaster, PA; two sons, John Weibley of Norfolk, VA with whom she recently lived and Kirby Weibley of Inglis, FL; two grandchildren, Leslie Riley and Matthew Weibley; two great-grandchildren; siblings, William "Jack" Hippensteel and Dorothy O’Handley. She is predeceased by four siblings and her grandson, Daniel Weibley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beth Sholom Village, 6401 Auburn Dr., Va. Beach, VA 23464
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home with a public viewing held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala.
