Martin A. Murphy Sr. (“Murph”), 72, of Yankeetown, FL, passed away on April 6, 2011. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he lived in Miami for 34 years before retiring to Yankeetown, FL. Beloved husband of Anne Murphy, father of Martin Murphy Jr. and Katie (Michael) Keim of Yankeetown, FL, adoring Pop Pop of Shane Martin and Shannon Michelle Keim, and loyal companion to his faithful dog, Rocket. Brother of Patricia (Russ) de Castongrene of Seattle, WA; Jane (Tom) Lane of Orlando, FL; John (Karen) Murphy of Maui, HI; and Michael (Lee) Murphy of Philadelphia, PA. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 2:30 p.m., at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church in Inglis, FL.
