Martin Opella

Ocala, Oak Run- Martin Opella, 82, a loving husband to Linda, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, died on Tuesday evening, November 20, 2018 while under the care of hospice at the Legacy House. He was born into this life on March 4, 1936 in NY, NY and was the son to the late Frieda Eisenberg. Martin served our country with the United States Marine Corp and fought in the Korean War. He retired with the Ford Motor Company and during his retirement he enjoyed tennis, swimming and his family. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

There will be a Graveside Committal Service on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. His family will meet at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon at 9:30 and will form a procession to the Cemetery.
