Mary W. McInnis, age 74, passed away peacefully at home with her family early Saturday morning, February 11, 2017.
Mary was predeceased by her best friend and husband of forty two years, Bruce. Mary is survived by her son Robert, daughter April, son-in-law Bobby, grandson Joseph, and granddaughter Samantha. Mary found a second home late in life with the crazy ladies and gents at the Front Porch, whose humor, wit, and good spirits matched her own.
Born in Scotland, Mary immigrated to the United States when she was 18 years old. Soon after arriving, she met her lifelong love, Bruce. The two were inseparable. Together, they built a successful business, beautiful home, and raised their family. Together, they lived the whirlwind. From Hawaii to the Virgin Islands. From Boston to Scotland. Retiring early, Mary and Bruce settled in Dunnellon Florida to enjoy fishing and the tranquil Florida life. Mary was an entrepreneur, angler, top chef, elite gamer, loving and devoted wife, amazing mom, fantastic grandmother, and best friend. She loved her family, people, animals, sci-fi, and almost any movie, regardless of the quality.
Mary and Bruce are together again... on an extended fishin' trip.
