Mary Rosa Penski, 79, of Ocala, died peacefully on Wednesday (9/4) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waltamstow, England to the late William and Hilda (Wilson) Newton.
Mrs. Penski worked for the British Secret Service where she met her husband Walter, who was serving in the United States Air Force. They were married in 1957 and moved to Southampton, New York where she was the Court Clerk for Southampton Town Justice Court. After retirement they moved to Ocala.
Surviving family includes her husband Walter E. Penski; sons Andrew (Nancy) and Christopher Penski; grandchildren Kelsey, Christopher, and Steven; three great grandchildren; one brother in England.
A funeral service, celebrating her life, will be conducted on Saturday (9/7), 1:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon (352-489-2429) with Marion County Hospice Chaplain Bob officiating. Family and friends will visit on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home.
