Mary A. (Rusk) Emery

Mary Alice Emery, 84, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 19, 1935 in Fredonia, Kansas and was the daughter to the late Paul and Vivian (Blakely) Rusk. Having growing up in Washington state and living in Pennsylvania for over forty years, Mary and her husband William moved to Dunnellon from Prosser, PA. She was a retired bookkeeper and secretary for an insurance company and most recently her husband’s construction company. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Dunnellon. She enjoyed cooking, hospitality and spending time with her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Hetherington; her two sisters and one brother.

She leaves behind her husband, William Emery, Dunnellon; her sons, Mark William Emery, Tazewell, TN and her daughter, Kathy Ann Emery, Dunnellon; her sister, Josephine Crow, Union, OR; her eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11am at First Baptist Church in Dunnellon.
