Duane Matthew “Matt” Steward , 37, died on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his residence in Citrus Springs, FL. He was born April 21, 1978 in Galveston, TX.
Matt grew up in Dunnellon graduating from Dunnellon High School in 1997. He was a mechanic and up until his passing he was employed as a service manager at Ford of Ocala. Matt loved being around people and making them laugh. He was just a fun happy man who enjoyed life and fast dirt bikes and cars. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Ronald Woods in 2010.
He leaves behind girlfriend, Crystal Land, Citrus Springs; his children, Cole and Kali Steward and stepson, Blake Land; his mother Gail Woods, Ocala, FL; his brother, Mike Steward, Dunnellon; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Cohen; his nieces, Tianna Sathoff, Taylor Steward , Mattaya Steward and his nephew, Gabriel Sathoff.
There will be a Public Viewing held at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5-8 PM.
Memorial Contributions can be made to one’s charity of choice in memory of Matt.
