Michael John Bennett

Michael John Bennett, 70, died suddenly on Saturday evening, August 4, 2018 while under the care of Brentwood in Lecanto. He is survived by his wife, Diane Bennett, Dunnellon; his son and daughter, Jason Bennett(Lisa), Bradenton, FL and Dawn Bennett (Keith Brown), Bradenton, FL; his grandchildren, Jennifer Trimarco, Ashley Irmak(Ilker), Chyenne, Ella, Ashton and Mila Bennett and his great grandson, Lucas Trimarco.

He is preceded in death by his son, Michael “Mike” Dunnington; his daughter, Leanne Bennett; his sister, Barbara and his niece, Denise.

On October 12, 1947 Michael entered into this life  in Jersey City, NJ and was the son to the late Michael and Helen(Whisten) Bennett. Upon retiring from Industrial Glass at Tropicana in Bradenton, Michael and his wife Diane moved to Dunnellon and have been here for fifteen years. Michael graduated from Sheridan High School in Somerset, Ohio. He enjoyed helping his grandchildren’s soccer team, working around the house tinkering in what he can get his hands on. In Holy Scripture we read for God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. John 3:16. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.  We Love you and we will Miss you until we meet again.
