Milagros “Lita” Delgado, 95, of Dunnellon Florida, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Milagros was born in Aguada, PR on May 12, 1931. She was married to Pedro Delgado on December 11, 1960; they were married 56 years. Milagros was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and also worked at the eyelet for 10yrs. She always put the needs of those she loved before her own. Her home was filled with love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Milagros liked cooking, sewing, painting, playing the slot machines, moving furniture around the house, gardening, burning leaves and setting fires (like when she accidentally burned down the field next door). She also liked keeping our dad in check. Milagros attended St. John the Baptist for about 40 years. She loved going to church.

Milagros is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

Milagros is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Delgado.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. John the Baptist, 7525 S US Hwy 41, Dunnellon, FL 34432.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am, Rosary at 10:00am, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. There will be a reception to follow in the church hall. Inurnment will be held at Dunnellon Memorial Gardens.
